Saudi Arabia official visit, April 2012

Bulgarian Minister of Agriculture, H.E. Dr. Miroslav Naydenov, made an official visit to Saudi Arabia in the period April 23- 26, 2012, where he met with Saudi Minister of Agriculture, H.E. Dr. Fahad Balghunaim.

 

Mr. Filip Lissicharov, President of Enio Bonchev Production Ltd., was invited as part of the small, selected accompanying official Bulgarian Business Delegation and made a presentation of the famous Bulgarian Damask rose and its principal products— Rose oil and Rose water.

 

During the meetings held at the Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Agriculture as well as the official dinner ceremony given by the hosts, the two sides discussed the possibilities for future work together in the field of essential oils. Bulgarian Rose oil is already popular in Saudi Arabia where it is used primarily in perfumery and cosmetics. Talks were led for future projects involving Bulgarian Rose oil and its potential use in the food industry and pharmacy.
