Another crazy crop year is behind us!!! A mild and warm winter season led to a record- early start of the rose harvest in Bulgaria with first flowers arriving in mid- April! Humid, rainy and cool month of May helped create a picturesque landscape with fields filled with vibrant pink and rich of fragrance roses.

Rose production lasted record- long 57 days, finally ending in mid- June. Farmers were able to efficiently harvest the roses thus enjoying favourable field yields. The price of rose flowers slightly increased while manufacturing costs remained without significant change.

Overall, the rose harvest season in Bulgaria was productive, with Bulgaria maintaining its role as world leader and top producer of high-quality Rose oil.

Note on Quality! PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) Certificate and special mark is a guarantee of true authentic quality for 100% pure and Natural Bulgarian Rose oil. Only products with such certificate and mark can be labeled as “Bulgarian Rose oil”. Always ask your supplier to provide PGI certificate of conformity before you make a purchase.
