🌹 2026 Rose Crop Report

The 2026 rose harvest season in Bulgaria began later than usual following an exceptionally humid month of May. Despite the delayed start, growers achieved good field yields across the Rose Valley, harvesting healthy flowers with excellent aromatic characteristics. 

This year's campaign presented several challenges for producers. Factory yields were approximately 15% below average among producers, requiring more flowers to produce one kilogram of rose oil. At the same time, rose flower prices increased by around 20%, while labor, energy, transportation and agricultural input costs continued to rise throughout the season. 

Despite these pressures, the quality of our 2026 production is excellent. The Bulgarian Rose Oil and Rose Water we produced display the rich aroma, complexity and balance expected from the world's most respected origin for rose ingredients. Through close collaboration with our growers and careful processing, Enio Bonchev continues to deliver the consistency, reliability and traceability valued by our customers.
