Rose concrete is produced by solvent extraction of the flowers of the oil-bearing rose (Rosa damascena P. Miller). Over 350 kg fresh flowers are needed to obtain 1 kg of Rose concrete. The solvent used is hexane which is completely removed after extraction.

Rose concrete is a vaseline - like mass with orange - red color and specific aroma of rose flowers. Our Bulgarian Rose concrete is main component in many cosmetic, skin care and perfumery products.
